Dr. Eric Knox DDS

Dr. Knox, originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, has a diverse background that spans his academic and professional career. Graduating with honors from Fort Dodge Senior High, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in biology at the University of Iowa, where he was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma honor society. His passion for dentistry led him to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he excelled in prosthodontics research, receiving notable awards including the Dows Research Award.

Continuing his education, Dr. Knox completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College, during which he participated in treating 9/11 victims and a medical mission to Honduras. He returned to Fort Dodge in 2004, joining Fort Dodge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he now practices with privileges at Unity Point Medical Center.

Beyond surgery, Dr. Knox has a keen interest in facial rejuvenation, staying current with new techniques through regular attendance at conferences and specialized training, including the Advanced PRF Facial Course and Facial Esthetics PRF Course. He offers a range of minimally invasive treatments like Botox, fillers, and laser procedures, with a focus on patient comfort and achieving effective, natural-looking outcomes.

Outside of work, Dr. Knox enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, traveling, supporting his children's sports activities, cycling, and flying as an instrument-rated pilot. He remains actively involved in his community through church, local schools, and serving on the board of the Twin Lakes District Boy Scout Council.
